Cub Scouts started in 2019. The new investiture was held on 20 February 2025. There are 216 Cub Scouts in grade 03. It emphasizes fun, adventure, and learning through various activities, including games, projects, outdoor adventures, and service projects. Its main aim is to contribute to the overall education and development of young people through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, encouraging them to be self-fulfilled individuals and responsible citizens. The Cub Scouts invite the chief guests to most of the events held by the school. They have a meeting once a week on weekdays to do their chores, physical exercises, and learn extracurricular activities.
The most mind-blowing leadership skills can be noted in the prefect board. Their dedication, cooperativeness, selfrespect, resilience, and integrity have kept them rigorous. They foster a positive school environment and promote good order and behavior. They inspire, guide others, forward visions and goals, ultimately driving changes and achieving remarkable results. Our initial prefect board was assembled in the year 2014. Up to this year, 2025, there have been 11 boards. The first head prefect was Roshith Fernando. They did an exemplary task, inspiring the school. Their diligence, revitalization, rigor, and benevolence have fortified our Pauliens to their maximum level.
Our 2025 prefect board is performing many beguiling tasks. They aim to nurture, assist, invigorate, and ultimately support the college. The purpose of PPS is to reinforce their college to the top -tier level. The purpose of PFPA is to reconnect past leaders, succor current students, stimulate the school's growth, and uphold the legacy of leadership and service.
Embracing imagination, experimentation, and collaboration to bring unique theatrical experiences to life is the creativity of a drama club. The main purpose is to develop skills such as communication and teamwork, boost self -confidence and self -esteem, foster collaborations, explore human experiences, foster critical thinking and analysis, express one's potential and results, and excite imaginations. Our enthusiastic dramatists have left the majority mesmerised and speechless by their art of acting. Their commitment is what assists them in coming to the place where they are. Their acting skills leave the audience to their ultimate imagination in their minds. When they perform, they put their whole mind into it, excelling in their performances. Their outstanding, exquisite, glorious, admirable, and top - tier performances have caught the attention of many across the country. Their priceless dedication has left nothing short of excellence.
Creativity in a Western band can manifest in various ways, from unique musical interpretations to original compositions and performance techniques. It consists of 21 members. It’s a brass band with the trumpet, trombone, saxophone, tuba, side drum, bass drum, cymbal, and many other instruments. Our music room was opened on 30/01/2015. It’s a sound proof music room. They participate in all the major events conducted by our school and events conducted by the network. They have participated in Salutian Excellentiam, ODDYSSEY, inter -house sports meet, and many network events. These Pauli ens have characteristics like self - discipline, optimistic qualities, leadership skills, musical abilities, and talents. Their dedication, effective leadership, and strong sense of community have led them to excellence and success. They have many advantages due to their talents. Their splendid and exquisite performances have shown their brilliant talents.
Crafting unique choreography to express emotions through movements is the creativity in dancing. The dance team boosts the school spirit, showcasing their standard, fostering teamwork and leadership, and providing a creative outlet for the students. The dancers learn responsibility, dedication, camaraderie, and time management, which invigorate the Pauliens’ lives. Our dance team began in 2015. The in -charge member is Julia, and the former in -charge members were [please insert names]. There are 30 students from grades 6 to 11. They also have two other sophisticated teams: the Magul Bera team and the Aerobic team. They do an incredible job in their work. The main types and styles of dancing they use are classical style, Kandyan, Bharatha Natyam, and Western style. One of the most unique things about our team is that they combine various techniques, sports, as well as martial arts in their dance choreography. Their substantial success has honored our Alma Mater immensely. They have performed at many exquisite events, including the Indo -Lanka Good will Culture Show, the ‘Festivista’ dance performance, and an item in the ‘Salutans Excellentiam’. They have shown their raw talent in these events, delivering exquisite performances.
The school's senior choir was introduced in 2016. The junior choir was introduced in 2018. There are 50 students in the senior choir and 25 students in the junior choir. The type of music our choirs use is ‘choral’ singing. The Pauli en choir has excellent vocal quality, intonation, rhythmic precision, and the ability to blend their voices into a cohesive sound. They have characteristics such as enriching religious services, providing social connections, and promoting musical education. Their dedication, enthusiasm, positive mindsets, and leadership have given them success and excellence in the work of art, enchanting the whole audience at an event. They participate in college masses and many other special events. The major events they have participated in are: 2015 - IIMM Festival of Music, ODDYSSEY (Mashup song), School Anniversary events, Verbum TV (Singing in a Mass), Salutian Excellentiam (Mashup song), Carols of the Bells - 2022, and English Day song events.
