Pre Primary Section

The Pre-primary Section of St. John Paul II English Medium College in Wennappuwa offers early childhood education aligned with the Local Syllabus Early Years framework. Established in 2014, the college began with classes including Lower Kindergarten (LKG) and Upper Kindergarten (UKG). The curriculum emphasizes holistic development, integrating academic learning with Catholic values such as faith, truth, wisdom, and love. Activities like "Brain Gym" exercises are incorporated to enhance cognitive and motor skills in young learners.

Primary Section

In the Primary School, many facilities such as the library containing over 500 books, a cafeteria with nutritional food for teachers and students, specialized TVs for L.K.G. and U.K.G. kids, and many more are provided. According to the abilities of the students, music and dancing teachers select the talented students from the relevant aesthetic subject to form the Primary Choir and the Primary Dancing Team. By that, students get a chance to perform in various functions and celebrations.

In the Primary School, children have a small play area to play around with their friends. All the classrooms have enough space and have all the materials needed for classroom learning. Almost all the children in the Primary School take part in Cub Scouts. In the Primary School, there is a Prefect Board, which consists of a Head Prefect, Deputy Head Prefects and Prefects of Grades 4 and 5.

Upper Section

The Upper Section of St. John Paul II English Medium College in Wennappuwa offers a comprehensive academic program. The curriculum encompasses a broad range of subjects, including Mathematics, Sciences, English, and Humanities, delivered in English to enhance language proficiency. Beyond academics, the institution emphasizes holistic development through extracurricular activities such as science exhibitions, cultural events, and leadership programs. Spiritual formation is also integral, reflecting the school's Catholic ethos.
